The use of this website and purchase of a Taste Club Box and other goods and services through this website is conditional upon your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Before offering to buy a Taste Club box, you must tick the terms and conditions box and by doing so you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions. If you don’t accept these terms and conditions, we are afraid you will not be able to purchase a box. We may revise this legal notice at any time by updating this page. May we suggest you pour yourself a drink and check the website from time to time to review the then current legal notice. Certain provisions of this legal notice may be superseded by expressly designated legal notices or terms located on particular pages of this website.

Buying a Taste Club Box

We sell snack and alcohol boxes to our customers whereby we (as a gift to you) also send the desired product to the desired home address.

Our status

Taste Club’s obligations under this agreement are to issue the Taste Club Box to you under the agreement. We are responsible for you receiving the desired services and goods to an (at least) acceptable quality. The alcohol and mixers when you order a box ‘Edition’ (for example Gin Box: Edition One) will remain the same. Snacks are subject to change. We work with a network of independent producers, retailers and manufacturers and that we rely upon.

Your status

By placing an order through our site, you confirm that: – You’re legally capable of entering into binding contracts; – You and the recipient (in case a Taste Club Box is your gift to someone) are at least 18 years old and of legal minimum age for purchasing alcohol in the UK.

When purchasing product or service, you may be asked to supply certain information relevant to the purchase including, without limitation, your credit card information, your billing address, your shipping information, and delivery phone number. You represent and warrant that you have the legal right and authority to use any credit card, debit card, gift card, gift certificate or coupon code utilized in connection with any transaction. You grant us an irrevocable non-exclusive license to use for any purpose any content you post on our website or otherwise communicated to us via any media.

Price and payment

The price of a box will be as quoted on our site, except in cases of obvious error. We’re only human. These prices include VAT. If there’s an obvious pricing error in relation to the box which could have reasonably been recognized by you as a mispricing then we have the right to cancel any box issued in respect of the deal and issue you a refund in respect of the same.

Payment for all services and products may be made by credit or debit card. All pictures shown are for illustrative purposes only. Actual products may vary in, for example, edition or batch. Product pages of goods on sale are subject to change (i.e. prices, availability, and general product information such as the edition). We reserve the right to cancel an order whenever there is a discrepancy, in product description or price, between the website and the item available for fulfilment.

Shipping & Returns

If the delivery address you provide is incorrect, we cannot accept any liability for delay or non-delivery. We also reserve the right to charge shipping costs to re-send the package. If you do not wish the goods to be re-sent we will, at our discretion, refund the value of the goods (except for the shipping costs).

If you refuse any shipments from Taste Club or if the delivery is not successful after the final delivery attempt to the specified address, you will be responsible for the original shipping charges and/or customs charges incurred, and the cost of returning the package back to us. This amount will be deducted from your refund.

We did our best in designing our Taste Club boxes to offer not just one-of-a-kind unboxing experience, but also provide maximum protection for its contents. In the (rare) case of receiving damaged goods, please notify us immediately and we will agree about how we can make it up to you. We may ask you to provide a photo and/or written proof before offering any kind of refund or replacement. Notify us immediately also if any items you receive are incorrect or incomplete. We intent to comply with the delivery of alcohol by appointing a suitable employee to make deliveries.

Staff responsible for deliveries are trained on an age verification policy and we have a proof of age policy in place via the Challenge 25 scheme.

If we ask for proof of ID, the only forms accepted are: a passport, photo card driving licence and ‘PASS’ hologram ID. These will be checked by the delivery driver before a box containing alcohol is handed over.

We have the right to refuse if ID is not sufficient, or if a person appears drunk. A bodycam will be used for deliveries and images will be securely stored and made available to an authorised officer upon request.

All sales are made via the website and no extra sales will take place from our delivery team. No extra stock is carried in our vehicles.

Delivery times may vary according to your selected delivery address and availability of the ordered items. A signature may be required for delivery. Deliveries at this time may take a minimum of seven working days.

Our Refunds Policy

When you get your package, please check it carefully and notify us immediately if you have the wrong item, or if it has been damaged.

If you are unhappy with your product for any reason, please return it to us, unopened within 7 days for a refund. All shipping back to us is paid by the customer, and we are unable to refund you for postal fees.

Consumer rights

To cancel a box, you must inform us in writing, by email at info@mytasteclub.com

This provision does not affect your statutory rights.

If your delivery is returned to us because you have given an incomplete or incorrect delivery address, we reserve the right to charge and additional delivery charge.

Our Right to Cancel Orders

We reserve the right to cancel orders at our discretion and at any stage of the order fulfillment process. We will provide a reason and you will be notified of our actions via email within a reasonable period of time, but usually as soon as possible. We’ll refund any money received from you to the method of payment originally used. We will use this liberty with extreme caution and forethought. In case we need to cancel your order, the refund will be normally processed immediately but no later than 30 days from cancelation. The funds will be returned to the original payment method.

While we endeavour to ensure that the website is normally available 24 hours a day, we shall not be liable if, for any reason, the website is unavailable at any time or for any period. Access to the website may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond our control.

Data

We do hold data about customers who buy from us, such as your name and address. We do not hold any financial information about you, or any credit card details. We will use your information to send you information such as newsletters, offers and promotions, to understand our customer base through analysing and buying patterns, and other such general marketing and promotional activities.
